Default RX issues?

I should start out by saying I'm running a seaking 180 with disabled BEC and a Leopard 4082. I'm having RX trouble. Last time I ran the boat flipped over and when I righted it the boat would not respond to the radio. I brought it to shore and the ESC was emitting steady beeps which is what is does when not RX pack is hooked up so I figured it was just dead. A little water got into the pack I noticed that during charging but it charges and cycles fine. The thing is when I hook it up to the boat I get nothing just the steady beeping from the ESC. When I first hook it up the servo will twitch and the receiver lights up for a split second then nothing. If I plug in the RX pack backwards the receiver blinks rapidly. I also tried a rx back that just uses 4AA batteries and the same thing happens?

I'd spray a little Corrosion - X into rx and let set for 1 hour and then use a hair dryer and blow most of it out. Then lay rx on a paper towel in sunlight for few hours. When you remove the red wire and tape it back; you need a rx with a 6 volt power like 4 AA. Lipos should be dried before charging or blown out with AIR to remove any moisture. Each person has their own method to remove h2o out of packs. Also the esc may have a couple of drops of water in it as no esc is water proof. They say splash proof which means it isn't water. Now if you do need a new esc, take off the shrink and spray X all over the esc and blow dry with dryer and let dry for a day in window sill and let the sun do its job and replace with new shrink. If lipo bulges, take it outside and let lay for day in the sun. I did this with a pack and it returned to normal size but kept a close eye on pack. These are suggestion and not in concrete. LOL!
