Default How do I know what is broken

well I took my Micro Mono hull out and it fliped over and I got water inside. My RX, servo are fine but ESC or Motor is fried. I don't know what one I fried tho. How can I test to find out before I can buying new ESC and motor. The motor wants to turn but it like jumps now... its odd. Please help me out. Thank you for your time!

most likely water in the motor, try cleaning it up, or replace it

Hook the motor directly up to a battery pack. If the motor runs, it's the ESC that is gone. My guess is that it's the more expensive part.

It may start working again once it's dry if it is the esc. The motor should still run even wet. In fact some people break them in in water.

That's good, it's cheaper to fix that than the esc.
