Does anyone make an electric version of the miss budweiser or lumar. I know proboat offers them in nitro and gas. It does not have to be exactly the budweiser, or a boat very similar?

in my opinion i think that you should by the 1/12scale boat and take the nitro engine out and sell it and then with that money and a littler extra get a brushless and put it in I'm sure it cant be that hard

Here is one, although I have seen these for much cheaper than listed here.

I suggest not to get one of those boats that Nocturnal provided a link to. I have read in a thread that they are very heavy. They even posted some video's and you can tell they are heavy by the way they handle. I agree with Eyekandy's suggestion. Only if you have the money don't sell the nitro engine, give it to me

It does not have to be a proboat. Any hydro with a similar style would be cool. I think MRC use to make on, but that was like 10 years ago. Not looking for racing just a cheaper boat to play around with.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks Nocturnal! I appreciate the effort.
It kinda looks more like a toy. I don't know if I have the heart to buy the nitro boat and replace it with an electric motor. I just don't feel like messing with nitro in a boat, but if I had one I would probably leave it that way. I would be happy to find a cheaper ABS plastic hull maybe a kit? Does anyone make a kit?

I don't endorse the boat. But he asked if one was available.

Just found this one. What do you think? Do you think any parts will still be available if needed?

Yep, looks like a toy. I wouldn't pay more than $40.00 for it..

I have one on the workbench and have gutted it completely, the hull with the planned 700 motor, 12-14 cells and RC-gear weighs just over three kilo's!
That's very heavy for a boat this size.
Before gutting it, I did a testrun with the two 380 motors; it wouldn't even get on the plane...
The boat looks good, but that's the only pro.
Regards, Jan.

http://www.finedesignrc.com/images/missbud.jpg its 165$ for the hull but well worth it,fine design has lots of hydro hulls , ive just built my own off of the hydromite plans on microhydros.com, ive got a 23" hull for 8-12 cells and it cost less than 50$
