Here should be a link to offshorelectrics and then go to the videos section and there is a brushless villain.

http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/MainPage.htm

I guess there is a lot of options just how much money do you want to spend?

www.mhzusa.com has brushless motors and esc.

ok well first of all you will be droping about 500 bucks if not more to go brushless !

you well need to get a new drive line , cuz there is no way that that stock one will handel it !
and then you have to decide if you want a twin BL set up or a singal set up ?
and if the prop blades are counter rotating then a twin set up will be eazy , cuz there is no timing on a BL motor , so you can just switch the "black and white" wires ! , you will need to decide onthe motor , if you are going BL then you can run both motors off of 1 esc ,or 1 motor off 1 esc !
if you have 2 esc's then hook one 6 cell pack to each esc , simple !
but if you have one esc then hook up the 2, 6 cell packs in series so you can get the most volts !
also if you run 1 motor make it a larger BL motor so it can move the boat faster
have fun deciding !
run a flex shaft what ever you do !

If you are going to go brushless, you are better off to rip everything out and set it up with a single drive unit. [sm=confused.gif] But if it were me, I would do what I did 6 months ago, I sold it and bought a better boat that was easier to upgrade. The CEN Aquajet Extreme from offshoreelectrics.com. But after I bought the Aquajet, I was so happy I did not need to upgrade it.

Forgot to mention, Enjoy it for a little while like it is first then sell it because you are going to lose a little money anyway. This is my suggestion because you said you are a beginner and I don't think you are ready for the task of turning a twin drive into a single drive.

If you are going to leave the motors stock then yes the prop and shaft upgrade is good and yes you can run 14 cells just make sure you put in some water cooling for the motors. I put in two Trinity Monster Maxx Wild motors on 14 cells and the upgrade prop and shaft from offshore and I had heat problems on the motors, I believe the upgrade props were too much for the 540 size motors, they don't have as much torque as the 550 motors. I also had water cooling jackets on from offshore and they are much better a cooling than a regular coil cooling system.

What more modified version of the aqujet are you talking about? Is it going to be better than the Aquajet Extreme from offshore? Is it offshore that is doing this new upgrade?

Yeah it says the extreme wont be available untill may22 thanks for the info on the props. Now what batterys should I buy to do 14 cells and if you could recommend a good charger that does two batt. at once. and one last thing are lipo batt. worth the money and can you even use them on a boat thanks.

Go to www.cheapbatterypacks.com and get the IB3300s or higher if you want to spend the extra bucks.
Go to www.hobby-lobby.com and look at the chargers there, you will find what you need. Look for one that does at least up to 25 cells and LiPos.
