Buy an ESC with reverse. Traxx sells them as do numerous others. I bought some proboat marine esc's with reverse for about $39. The have 70 amps continuous forward and 30 amps continuous reverse. Remember that there will be a slight delay when you go from forward to reverse. It is not instantaneous

churchrvb, what esc and what radio are you running. Its true that alot of marine esc's don't have reverse simply because they are not really needed and can sink your boat. But I have never heard of a boat going forward no matter which way you push the throttle trigger. Sounds like a set up error, either in your esc programming or in your radio.

Try going through the programming process of the esc first, that could be the culprit. If thats not it, try different settings with your radio. I doubt seriously it has anything to do with the receiver.

yea i had this proportion thing and it wasnt not turn up all the way, and i also used my tmaxx tq to reverse it so not it seems better, cause when i would move the joystick back words it would seem to go faster. so i reverse that, and i turn this proportion this up all the way, and it seems to spin the motors faster.
