hi can any body help me , i have a v hull speedboat aprox 22"to 24" inch have fitted 2x 3700 7.2 batt with a 50amp esc with reverse the motor is a mfa 700 wich should rev to 21,000 rpm first to tests are proveing disapointing with speed no more than a cheep £50 highwind toy boat also arfter about 5 min the motor gets hot and the positive lead off the motor becomes unsolderd the cooling system is pushing water round the 5coil water tubeing exerlatley can any one out there help me please as planes i understand but am a new boy at this boating game any help with my set up would be great dont even know if i have the right combination or a mis match the esc and batts are tornado motor mfa HELP IM DROWNING THROW ME A LINE[&:]

First thing that comes to mind is that it may be over propped. What prop are you running on it?

Do you have photos of your boat?

I'm assuming packs are in series and the motor is direct drive. Knowing the prop used will be more useful in finding a solution.

the prop is a 40 with a med to corse pitch does that help in the air im a ace on water a dummy
