BBY Oval Master 21 Build Thread
Yo. Building this boat, thaught I would have my own build thread. I wil be taking pics step by step, and I am sure I will have some questions too. I just got time to start it tonight and did'nt get much done as I don't have a drill handy (it's at work).
I got the transom doubler glued in, The hull edges sanded so the top deck and bottom deck fit nice and tight, The motor coupler put on the motor
Not much building but this is my first so I am taking it slow.
I am using a Mamba Max 5700 Motor and a Barracuda 80 ESC, and a Octura x432 prop finished by yours truly. Standard is gonna be 6 IB3800's, and just for fun I am building a 8 cell pack to see if it's not to heavy for this 21" rocket.
I dig it. It's a real neat boat. In the newest issue of RCBM you can read that someone set the SAW record for N-2 Mono with this hull, Novak GTB ESC, Novak 4.5 Motor, and a x432 prop. He hit 45.2 MPH. So I am hoping mine does 35 MPH Should be a little rocket I hope [8D]

wow, these boats sure build faster than I thaught. I am going to be finishing the OM this week. I need a small servo, and some misc. things from the LHS. I'll post some pics later.
