Default HELP ON FLEX SHAFT

I NEED HELP!!!!! I HAVE A DRIFTERL FROM HYDRO MARINE, NEMESIS 540 XL MOTOR, FLEX DRIVE, WITH A RUDDER. NOW I GOT THIS THING READY TO GO IN THE WATER. I DROP IT IN, HIT THE GAS, AND NOW THE FLEX SHAFT IS SPINNING IN THE COUPLE. WHAT IS GOING ON? IS THERE AN EASY FIX? AND IS THERE A GOOD ALLEN WRENCH FOR THE PROP STOP ON THE SHAFT?
I AM GOING NUTS ON THIS THING.

hi,
what i did on mine was to solder the end of the flex shaft that goes in the motor coupling, this gives a little better bite. on the prop shaft you have to grind a little flat spot were the set screw goes so it doesnt spin there either. any allen wrench should work once you do these mods.

are we talking about the prp collar or the coupler on the motor? the coupler on the motor works by tighning two nuts wich grips down on the cable. tighten those and your good to go
