Saltwater Electrics?
[:@] i am a begginer in the rc boat world have driven a few but never owned one. Would be used a weekend fun boat on saltwater. need reliabilty and stability ? any ideas?

Hi there
First of all, salt is very dangerous to all iron parts in your boat. Second, only a drop os saltwater makes your electronic out of order.
That's why you have to keep all electronics in rc plastic box. Remember, that steel shaft and other parts, for example screws, will be damaged after few runs.
It's your choice to run on saltwater. Afetr each run remove all saltwater from your boat. Before any run put some oil into shaft tube.
Always remember to minimize the salt effect on any steel and iron parts, and take all electronics away from water.

thanks peter yeah my local hobby shop told me that running it on salt water is very dangerous but i live on the water so it is very convenient. i have gotten some salt away for my boat and was told to do what i could to keep the water out just wondering if you had any ideas?
