Any place sell parts for older boats?
We got out old boat in the mail today, the kyosho viper. It went pretty well and seemed to be no problems or leaking
But just wondered if anyone sold parts for this,I would like to keep a extra rudder around since this will be the boys boat and there will be accidents im sure.

I have the boat too . After I modded it to a 700 and 12 cells the rudder wasn't up to the job anymore. I replaced it . If I look had eneough I may be able to find the stock one. If I can find it you can have it for the cost of sending it .

RE: Any place sell parts for older boats?
I bought a Viper off e-bay as well. I have totally gutted it and am going to use the hull as a practice build and it will end up as a sport boat for my wife. So I have available:
rudder
drive shaft W/ motor coupling and drive dog (no prop nut)
trim/turn fins, these are the one piece aluminum ones and they are kind of beat up but usable.
It also came with a 360 truck motor (Kyosho) as well as an IPC - ESC that looks like it will only work with that type of motor as the motor and esc use 4 pin connectors.
The motor has a bit of water damage but is not locked up I have not tested it to see if it work.
You are welcome to any or all for the cost of shipping.

RE: Any place sell parts for older boats?
Sounds good, but im not sure if we have the same boat, the viper I have takes a 540 like a standard rc car motor,if you could post some pics so I could see. If that stuff will fit,I'll gladly pay for shipping,I have a feeling I will need it,the boy already broke a prop yesterday.
He tends to drive it up right up to the edge where its shallow and rocks,,then gun it to go out.
Luckily we had one more spare prop, were getting ready to go out again today for another run, this time im bringing my stormlauncher to use as a boat, never tried it on water,Ill try to take some vids
Thanks guys! Let me know.

There are two (2) versions of the Kyosho Viper. The earlier version has the 540 motor direclty clamped on the hul land held by an aluminum clamp. The more modern version is the Viper "R" and has a provision for water cooling. Which one is your particular model?

I guess I purchased and older version with the motor clamped down in the hull. I haven't forgotten about the pics, just been a bit busy. I will get you some when I get a chance, then you can see if I have anything that you can use.
