Tell me your experience with "generic" BL motors
Like the title said, I'm just looking for a pair of "large", about 550 can size brushless motors and I see several chinamart/australian companies on ebay which have motors at about $45 each w/ waterjackets on them already which seems like an alright deal to me. I do know that this is pretty much "you get what you buy" but I do know some people who have some luck with the "generic" motors and such. SO I'm really trying to get to the bottom, past all of the hype that says it's "crap" or whatnot. Thanks..

Work fine for me and generally the draws are about right. Have tried a bunch from uh and a couple from turoborix.

I have heard stories of the end ball popping loose on the Fiego 540 size motors. Here's a clamp that will prevent this from happening or you can use a thrust bearing.
