Default is this a good idea

I have a 550 profisherman boat outboard , what would be the smallest boat this could go on, i am in the prosses of making a 14 in boat that is half reef racer bottom and the top is scratch built was wondering if this would work and not to rear heavy , not looking to break records just be fast in my pool. Any input would be great thanks?

my understanding of that motor is recommended for 30" hull....remember the wt. of the battery, esc and etc,,hope the hull can handle this...
