Default 33" Brushlees Build help wanted

I have a new 33” Deep V hull I would like to make into a Brushless Boat and wanted to ask for some pointers on how to build it.

I also have the AquaCraft Motor & Esc Power Package to fit in it.
Does the motor have to be fitted a certain spot to balance up the boat?

I still have to buy a strut & rudder.
What does everyone recommend to fit?
Do I have to run a certain size for this boat?

Are there any motor mounts to fit the Motor to the stringer?

Also should I run Trim Tabs and Turn Fins?
If so what size?
How do I work out where they are fitted

Any pointers on drilling the holes in the fibreglass to avoid mistakes or cracking the fibreglass.
I was going to buy a dremel, don’t know if the are any better or worst for drilling holes?

I can post some better pics when I get a new camera.

That aqua craft motor and esc arent enough to move a 33in boat. They will you just wont see great performance.

Drilling.. I always run the drill in reverse for the first few moments then turn it to drill...
seems to keep the glass from cracking.

Uh if drilling is an issue go with dremel, with high speed I can dremel fragile foam like butter, fiberglass wouldn't be an issue.

cog is what... 33% from the back generally? Someone else would need to chime in for that. I have the same hull only the 29 inch version. I would highly suggest more power, 60 amps minimum regardless of voltage your running. rpm/v should be anywhere between 2300-1800ish. Also if you stick with the aquacraft setup then don't bother adding a flood chamber, but if you want speed, more than likely you will eventually reach blow over speeds in which the hull flips back on high speeds etc. That is when ya want the flood chamber. Sv27's are notorious for flipping over, only real problem I've seen when boats start reaching their hull limits. Your hull is rated for 60mph if I'm not mistaken.

Ivan.

Ok I may have to rethink the motor to use then.

Thanks for the info, I am going t buy a dremel next week and practise on some old fiberglass.

You got this off ebay right? some guy outta china? Ah that's a stoopid question, everything is made in china. If so apparently its a knock off of some model.

Its a knock of of the Delta Force hulls which was a close knock off to Seaducer hulls. Anyway they are pretty good running mono's. Most of them are set up with trim tabs and turn fins. I have one that I plan to run on 4s lipo and a Neu 1515 1Y motor.

Yes I got it off ebay, just read the listing I see it says 60mph+.
I got mine a a coulpe of years ago when he was going by another name.

Mine came with the stringers and a radio box.

My hull is painted not gel-coated like they are now.

Does anyone have links to a Motor and ESC which would beter suit this size boat, I would say $100 would be my spend.

Thats a bit over but it should be fine. Youll want prolly 14-18cells on it.
