twisted liquid racing has an upgraded rudder:
http://www.*******************.com/supervee.html

type in twisted liquid racing in the asterisks(minus the spaces)

don't know about any strut stuff besides purchasing the stock strut.

And before anyone twitches to remind me, I do know that twisted has had several problems w/customers.

I've ordered several of their products and was just fine.

Go to RCtech & have a look at what people have to say about twisted liquid...... I won't buy from him, especially after some of the posts he's since deleted.

just my opinion.

And everyone elses

voodoo, I'd stick to the stock hardware. It works well. What do you need to replace?

I really have to ask this "stupid" question.... and it´s a bit offtopic
I found this Grims talk from Super Tune Your Super Vee 27 topic what needs to be done to stock sv27:

Rudder blade tucked full under (stock shear bolt)
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_47...tm.htm#4752309

I don´t understand what is stock shear bolt do i need to change my svees rudder position(stock position is about 90 dec) to smaller angle(tucked full down)? What do i get to make this operation??stability in turns or what???

the shear bolt is the bottom of the two you have pointed out. you undo them & push the tip of the rudder as forward as you can & then re-tighten the bolts. it helps the boat stay stable in the turn. some people replace the bottom bolt with a brass one incase they hit a submerged log, this way the brass bolt shears off & saves the boat from further damage.

Thanks

So i will try it next week. Is there any other effects like increase/decrease of speed etc?
Anybody have any pictures from the rudder with that setup?
What about the turn fin angle(left and right side)? Is there a good and peoples tested position also?
