Default What would be the next step

Hey guys. I have a Miss Vegas that has reached consistent 60mph runs with a best of 60.8. I run a NEU 1521 1.5d motor, Two 4900 mah 11.1 batterys, and a Octura m545 modded. The hull has been modded ,bottom has been cut and is flat. Prop is extended 2.5 inches back. It has a very short rudder to reduce drag and short turn fin. I have tried 9 different props and this prop has pruven to be the best. Run time is great and for just messing around i will run two 7.4 volts with even better run time. My goal has always been 65 mph but no matter what i do she will not pass the 60 mark.I know this hull was not ment for this but its cheap, especially when it crashes, losses radio contact wich is always a good time LOL and hit a few things so finding them on ebay is easy and cheap. What do you think my next move should be. Mabe a custom prop? 50volt esc and more voltage batterys? Thanks for your time

Honestly, get a bettter hull. A hull designed around a 4s2p rigger could easily accomodate your current 6s 1521 power system. You will be able to exceed 65mph and should be over 70mph. There comes a time when you will want that extra 5mph, why not start now before dumping more money. Build a hull toss some hardware on it and re-use your current power sytem.

Yaaa..your right. The hull i want is a 1/10 mis Bud and they are $480.00 from fine design. Like i said this electric stuff has been a learning curve and the run last month that lost radio contact and killed my hull was when i said.. thank god its only a cheap Vegas.

You might try contacting the ERCU and Classic Thunder clubs. You can probably get a custom built 1/10 Miss Bud for less. The guys out there really know how to set up a boat.
