i saw this Sponson mod thread a week ago and it put me off buying her, i wonder why the stock hull has it flat; most odd, because all the cats i've seen are as per your excellent mod.
in addition, the bloke from AStec told me, that there is something wrong with her hull that limits her top speed, i think she needs reinforcing inside, this is even odder, because this guy was trying to sell her to me

but you've strengethened yours inside, so she'll probably be ok., this is the one us Brits call the HOR APPARITION, she's quite popular, she's the same hull as the VENOM ( i think)

They are flat because it is a H&M clone. The original had flat isharper sponsons.

Adding what Rull did, makes it more stable in the rough.

I also think since the drives are lower that prop changes will be more noticeable.

i wonder why they made this cat a single screw, whilst the other chinese versions are all twin screws, cheaper i suppose, it'll be interesting to see how well this cat goes with all these great mods.

Look for airplane trailing edges. One size is 6mm x 30mm high triangle, it should be ok. At least this is what I use for ridepads...

Putting all the effort in blueprinting the bottom and improving the edges, and then making the edges round by spraying them.
Such a shame.
IF (!!) you spray a hulls bottom, always spray with the nose pointing down.
So the boat is in a vertical position.

ok
you are talking about angle sharping. Tell me what difference will between angles with 0.5 and 0.1 mm radius in my hull?
I understand that 0.1 is better than 0.5. But how much?

0.1 vs 0.5 is a 500% improvement
All little bits help.
I really like your build, don't get me wrong.
