A lot of the ESCs out there will ask for the Tx to be in R (reverse), especially on the Futaba gear...
I have a couple that will keep on beeping until I hold the throttle down in reverse (past the neutral point) and stop... but that will be your new zero, meaning you have to keep the stick in reverse for neutral. Easy on a 4 channel without return spring.

Did you ever have your SV work before this happened ?
Did something get wet ?
Try to unplug esc from RX does the servo still work ?
Try to plug esc into steering slot on RX and esc and servo into esc slot
Will the servo work now ?
