Its all good ty all for ya help i have fixed the problemi kept the 3000kv went and got a 120a brushless water cooled esc a water jacket for the moter (large) added another water pick up at the back opposite the rudder to counter drag and added a water cooled collar to cool the front bearing rewired the batteries so its not a 22.2 v it is now wired as a 11.1 co jioned batteries for longer life as the esc will only now pick up that its an 11.1 v. have not yet touched the prop as the shop was closing and i wanted to test it and went down to the dam and run 2 sets of batteries through it after pulling in for the temp tests and to my amazment i could hold the back of my finger on the engine with no burn!!!!!!!! so i am happy to say that the only thing i will be doing to it now is proping it up as i have already hade thoughts of rewiring batterie connectons and buying2 x 7.4 v bats and running a 14.8 but have slaped myself in the face already as i have posted onto utube for you to have a look at the speed and performance and would like yous to get back to me plz on your thoughts!!! ty fellow rc>ers!!! luda...

Nice one Kris!

I only just came across this thread and recognized the Arpro, I'm running one myself, rebuild for racing on the 30 x 30 x 30 m course.

I couldn't help smiling at all the responses, as the problem was very obvious in the first pictures; the motor wasn't watercooled at all!
Just wrapping silicon tube around the can does not constitute a cooling coil....

I'm glad you got a proper cooling jacket and the boat is running fine.

Congrats!

Regards, Jan.

Looks good
I sugested running your packs in paralell as you now are for better runtimes and lower volts..
I was not sure if the 3000kv motor would pull to many amps but now you have a bigger esc to help out, and that's good
keep an eye on temps when you prop up
do you know what size is on their now?

Kris.
Good to see the boat running well now. 3000kv on 3s is a good combo.
A couple of points. The water cooling collar is not connected to the cooling system in the photo. It's just connected to itself. The water line should go...
from pickup to ESC,
from ESC to collar,
from collar to jacket,
from jacket to outlet.
Also I would shorten those adaptor leads to as short as humanly possible. There's too much wire & resistance there. Not good for the caps on the ESC.
When you come to our club at Boondall you can try any of my props you want. I'm sure we can figure out the best one.
See you Saturday if you can make it. I'll be there around midday but some of the other guys will be there a bit earlier.
All the best.
Paul.
