Default nitro brushless conversion

ok i need some advice, I have a 1/12 proboat nitro hydro should I try to convert it brushless or should I just get the ul1. I have been reading and found the ose has the ul1 motor esc combo, coupler, ect for around 200. I can get the ul1 for 269 shipped from tower.
What should I do?

thats what I was thinking rebuilder now I just need to figure out what to do with the extra boat, does anybody know what it would be worth and should i part it out or sell it rtr. It is somewhat upgraded with a tlr rudder, turn fin,and the motor was modded by tlr, balanced and sharpened y535 prop also.

Bro, I own a UL-1 and let me tell ya, it ripps!
I'm getting low 50s with mine...

You could have your motor modded in the nitro and add a good prop and have a decent nitro to go with your bullitt UL-1

But you could do a brushless conversion with the ProBoat
with this esc
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=8937
and this motor
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...hless_Inrunner
and this motor mount
http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=etti-h010
running on 4s should ripp real good! could be just as fast as my UL-1
