Hi gaz, looks like she went well especially for a first run mate.
Thanks for the kind words im glad your happy .
Nows time to start tweaking cos theres lots more speed there to come .I tried many props and prefered the 6717/3 ,sharp balanced and no rounded tips ,creates the correct amount of lift these hulls need.

I've got an idea that the velocity stack will come off for good once the engine has to come out or the carb needs to come off. It appears to be difficult to get to the bolts.

Actually Ron theres plenty of room to get to the bolts the hatch on my hull is a lot wider than most other t boats out there that i know of although the motor was just sat in for the pics and i did tell Gaz he might wish to remove the v stack but if hes happy with it then thats ok by me.For all i know he might have removed it im not sure but i agree def not needed plus easier to prime the motor with it off,its the first thing i throw away on my motors second is the idle screw lol.

Looking good Gaz,great speed in those conditions and dare i say she looked very stable in the chop. She should hit 65 no probs in better conditions ,who knows you might hit the magic 70.
Keep up the good work m8 and if you think shes suffering from a lack of clean air for the carb try the air dam idea and maybe a vent over the carb facing back like i mentioned,it does help especially in the warmer months. What prop did you hit 60 with ?.
Mart
ps get some pics up of the finished boat if you can, heres some Lee sent me of her running from last week.
