I use a farm machinery paint ( comes in shakers or for the sprayers ) thats called
VAN SICKLE . Comes in a variety of colors ( most of the common colors ) and is also cheaper than most that you will find at an auto parts store . Here , the VAN SICKLE runs $2.37 per shaker , and if fuel proof ( nitro and gas ) and is VERY easy to work with .

Where I live , there is a farm and fleet store called NORBY'S FARM AND FLEET ( one of the many different chains ) . There are NORBY'S all over the Iowa , Wisconsin , Minnesota area . Not sure of any other areas though . But , if you inquire at your local farm and fleet store , they might have it .

Turbo Bob you gave up my secret!!! I too use Van Sickle but mix the hardner they make with it to make a 2 part enamel paint that can take anything!! We have a farm supply center or should I say centers because there must be 25 in Oklahoma named ATWOODS that sells the paint. A quart is $6 and just a little of the hardner they make for it will do the trick. Cut the paint to shoot with acetone. Robert do you still want some of those short glow plugs I have???
