Yea my cat was like BOING nose up then would rock if it hit any ripples as you can tell from the video it was on a teater toter of blow off and slap off it really is a *****en prop if you can get the weight just rite it will flat lay it down.

Jake
Yep, when your cat runs flat in high speed with a high rake prop, that means you already have a correct balance point in your boat, 70 mph zoon is not easy, if it is, there would be lots of 70 mph cats floating in our ponds...lol. I'm still waiting for my new engine and etc from NFS, I just measured my white insane mono, the max of the engine placement would only allow set at about 16" which is not long enough for a 45" boat especially for a mod engine, the only solution is to add about 10-16 ounces to its nose or is powered by a stocker....lol

It's really not as bad as it first looks to be, at least from that shot. Ugly, yeah but throw it back together, splash some paint on her it it should come back to life.

How about we get back on topic and type about Falcon Cat's?

Eric some times your post confuse the h_ll out of me try putting the reast of the words in .

Are you saying if I bought a 15* round ear it would be wasting my money and your time?If the boat has to run only in very perfect conditions because the prop is cupped for bowl lift and has no transom lift its not worth that much to me as much as I want to show big numbers I like to run the cat allso. Not hope for no wind or ripples.

Jake, I'm going to try this fuel on my rigger later with a pair of really slimed designed sponson from Richard, the fuel might increase about 7% of the top speed, will see how many MPH of gain on it and hopfully into 90s, here's the fuel specs:

U2 VP Racing Fuel Designed for stock and modified 2-stroke applications. Makes up to 6% more power than pump gas and any basic non-oxygenated racing fuel. Passes fuel rules for AMA amateur racing, and is also perfect for club level racing, CCS, WERA and AFM. Makes engines faster and more responsive without harming the carburetor, O-rings or gaskets.

5 Gallon Pails In Stock, Larger Quantities Upon Request

Color: Clear
Oxygenated: Yes
Motor Octane: 101
Specific Gravity: .717 @ 60°F

The black cat runs a steady 67mph & 60 in the turns. It looks faster due to the zoom in on the video. The Falcon reaches the speed 3/4's down the straights ....running Octura 1475 B,S, Pitched 5.5 with cup. The black cat is an AC boats hull ..I know it is a wild thing with no fear except those on the lake......unpredictable at time with cross winds and waves. The Flcon is very stable up to 65mph, then it wants to blow over. I had to put small winglets on the front sponsons and now with zero trim you can actually see the bow level out and the boat accellerate. On the lake that thie boats were filmed it needs to be longer........LOL
