for a cat, 11-1/2" is a sweet length, I would measure it from center of the flange straight back to center of the band, wally runs the same pipe, he should know better of this pipe.

From the center of the flange to the center of the band is 11 1/4 (that is with the 2 1/4 conection it came with)

Cant wait to see your cat running mate. It looks if your putting all the go hard stuff in it. Im sort of new to these gas boats and the bug has hit me real hard. Good luck bloke.

I hope it will run hard Redline QD Hotpipe,SS full mod motor and 2716 W prop from Dasbota the go fast stuff is there well see.check out the thread titled 77 mph sprint cat video.

Your build is very nice should run pretty good allso dont think it takes much to get these lite hulls running good.

Jake the prop i got from dasboata is unbelievable i never seen anything like it its so sharp i can nearly shave hairs of my arm. Im sorta new to gas boats so i dont know if this is the norm but im very happy with his work. I saw the sprint cat vid it just makes you want one. very crazy i like it.

jake, you might use a GPS to find out, if the cat runs faster with a cowl, just keep it on. for me, I really need a cowl to keep my cat's nose down, otherwise it will blow off sometimes when it catches the wind speed of 10-15 mph.

Ummmm faster than 60 [:-] not sure but I am going to set them up so the motor and pipe will transfer from one to the other. At some point I would like to add a F41 Stryker to the list as well they make a nice drag cowl for it .I hope to get the falcon on the water in 2 weekends from now well see.
