Two and a half inches to the right of the propshaft. Usually centered on the right engine rail.

.....or far enough away not to hit the prop (obviously) and pay mind to your pushrod location for the rudder AND the mounting hole locations for the rudder brackets. Engine rails usually determine where you are able to place that offset rudder since the bracket bolts need to still get through.

There really is no precise location, just depends on the hull. Just as long as it's to the right of the prop (typical).

Thanks alot guys...another question...should i drill all holes in hull before or after the paint job gets done(professionally) as i'm worried about chipping the paint if i have to re-drill (clean) the holes out?????

Best to do complete assembly first, then take it all back apart and do the paint and reassemble. You never know you could drill something that doesn't go as planned and mess up your new paint if you don't build it first. The slight bit of paint buildup in any screw holes can be quickly removed with a quick in and out of the appropriate sized drill bits wouldn't worry much about slipping with the original ther as a pilot hole.

Best of luck.
