Hello Burgert,
Thanks for your compliment and yes I will post a vid as soon as I have some footage. Unfortunately the weather here has prevented any running of my boats since posting the photos and I'm driving up to Jhb on Monday and also to Ballito Bay on the Natal coast to visit with my children and grand-children for the next 5 weeks. So I'll only be running boats again in late November.
Till then,
Kind regards,
Wennie.

Hi there Jim!!! Sorry for the delayed reply, don't sign in here much lately. Yep, lots of work on the lake and farm since you came down, a lot more too since that vid was shot. How's that tunnel of yours holding together?? I might have to finish my new tunnel soon as I have a lot of stress cracks through mine these days I got a gs480 on the go like Wennies.
Might bolt some goodies on tomorrow at club day and see what comes of it
happy boating

Hi SpecialK1,
I ordered my gearbox with the 3.8 : 1 ratio and during a very short (15 lap) test run, the steering functioned great so I'm happy that my setup should work OK in racing conditions but I'll have to wait for our club race-day on 7 December when I will next have an opportunity to race the boat. I'm using the HS-7950TH Hitek servo which provides final torque of over 1600 ounces / inch with my 6.6 volt LiFe battery.
Cheers,
Wennie.

Dom, I need some answers about the swivel pin on the Enigma OB leg...after a hard run, the bolts (?) came loose...didn't lose the engine..it remained attached because of the steering cables, but I'm not sure as to the steps to take to repair...haven't had much experience with MM bolts, etc...please advise...the leg works great!

I don't think things have been slow, I've been flat out and some guys are building new hulls for themselves and others are keen to start, just not been posted. Heaps of nitro tunnel stuff going on too. Post some pics when your done. I have been thinking of getting some stuff made up myself.
