RE: BEST PROP
Mick,
I have always been given conflicting information for the Mathe 35 regarding best props. I have been told by Mathe to keep props smaller (70mm or so) as the motors need to rev. Others had been recommending 80mm props.
I have only limited run time with my 35 but found running the 7016/3 (same prop I run on mod zens and QD35's) to be a good starting point. It is a prop that you should have in your prop box anyway.
As mentioned - Chris (Dasboata) will certainly have some good options for you.

Are the drives regular surface or stern drives (stern drives also have a gearbox).
Is it the Mathe C/R gearbox - if so what ratio is installed (they offer three options for ratio last I heard).

Stoddy have you tried thisC R gearbox ?,looks like a good bit of kit and very reasonably priced this one went for under £60.I was considering it myself,he says shes been tested to upto 12 hp with no probs.I think he said he has the boxes made in Russia for them, company name is precision -in- perfection i believe ?
