Default NEW 2009 ARROW SHARK FIGHTER CAT

Does anyone own or seen one of these 2009 models run yet? seems they have upgraded quite alot of things including the 2hp engine to a 5hp engine. i was looking at buying one of these last year but got the K.O.S. seriously thinking about buying this boat. all personal thoughts about this boat are welcome.

i think the arrowshark boats are ok, not the best quality but still good, the new motor they use looks to be a clone of a quickdraw, quickdraws are good motors but not sure about the clones, probably run good but may have a little shorter life

I have the 2008 Fighter with its original engine. Boat is great as far as sport boating is concerned. It will run about 35 -37 mph on stock engine. Flaw on it is the clutch but they have replace that with a newer system (dont know much about). the Fighter supposedly had been upgraded all around. Stock pipe and running gear are all good quality material. I have set aside the stock engine for parts and have replaced it with a Zenoah 260PUM coupled onto a pro boat clutch - Lovin it.

thanks guys,
what does your cat go like with the Zen. i think that there would be an improvement with upgrading the old engine to a Zen but i wonder how good the new engine really is and does it really put out 5hp. i think they have put together a pretty good package by the looks of it for 2009 so i might just have to grab one for myself. if you hear of anything else in the boating community about this cat it would be great to let me know. more information of about this boat is welcome. I just dont wanna buy another lemon.

if the engine is indeed a clone of a quickdraw then i would have no doubt that it makes 5hp

Have you seen their test video? You should watch it and decide for yourself. I know for a fact that I had replaced my stock Zen cylinder with their 2008 engine cylinder and now my Zen seem to be a couple of clicks faster.
