what this boat might be, or who makes it? i have a chance to buy it for $50, it comes as you see it and with the hardware. it does not have a motor or any of the electronics. from what i'm told it has never been wet, the guy lost interest and it has just been sitting. these are the only pics i was sent and he says it's like 45 inches long. so does anybody know what it might be, and is it worth the $50 he wants for it? also would a rcmk motor do well in it? thanks everybody

How about some picks of the inside. Would like to see the stringers and have a look around in the hull. Looks clean outside. Is the finish paint or gel coat? As for who makes it I have no idea,

What that hull might be for that price is stolen!
It kind of looks like a Stryker as the cowl looked like the give-away.

Looks like the Classic Stryker with a turbo cowl to me

the cowl is a Stryker but it doesn't look like it fits the boat. Looks like it is just sitting on top, no lip around the bottom for it to sit into. Try over on Jim's, I think someone there was experimenting with it.

Stryker Hydro is what I was thinking also because of the cowl,
but the Stryker doesn't have that small "V" step design under the belly (unless the newer one does).

I also believe there is to much lip (seam) showing from joining the bottom and top deck to be a Stryker product.

Maybe an Aeromarine Sport - X Hydro with a styker cowl, just not sure.
but like Ron said, $50 bucks!!!
I would not mind risking $50 bucks.

It's been a while so I can't remember who exactly was trying the belly pan on their hydro's and whether or not it was legal for racing. Still, for $50.00 it would be very hard to turn down.

Just went back to the website and took another look. The Stryker 1 hull didn't have a belly pan that I could see in the pictures so it's either a II or someone is making a variant

cool, it sounds like you guys think it would be worth getting it for the $50. i'm going to go pick it up on saturday. i don't have any more pics, those 2 where all i was sent. and you guys agree, the hatch shown in the pics doesn't go with this boat? if that's the case, anybody know where i could get the right hatch? i don't want to have to try and mod the one shown to make it work, if i can just buy the right one. after i get home with it on saturday, i'll post more pics of it. thanks for again for your help, you guys are great.

well guys, i'm sorry to say that i didn't make it today to pick up this boat. but the good news, i contacted the seller and he is willing to let me pick it up tomorrow. so, sometime after lunch(my time) i'll get some more pics of it posted.

I am disappointed to hear this. It means your attention will now be further divided by another project and thus my patient wait to see how you will make out with the Nemisis hull will not be rewarded. Am I going to have to break down crack my wallet and buy one for myself?

sorry man. my poor nemesis is just sitting in a pile of parts[:@], waiting for me to take it to scott's to get him to paint it. when i get it done, i'll start posting video of it again. this boat is just to cheap to pass up, so i can't help myself you should just go ahead and get yourself a nemesis, you've been thinking for long enough[X(] you'll be glad you did, as they look and run great.

well. i made it there today. i ended up making a trade with him. a used pipe for a hpi baja, for the boat in question and another new boat. plus a motor, some pipes, a 2 boat stand, and alot of other stuff. i'm going to try to use some of the stuff from the pile, to get the mono going. then see what i can do for the hydro. here's some pics

If I understand correctly, there was not even 50.00 spent, he said he traded a pipe for the boat and I guess he ended up with it all. You must be some kind of trader; looks as though you got a GREAT deal.
If you don't feel like fooling with the Hydro, I know some one that would be intrested.

yup. just the pipe, no money. the guy has a few health issues, and is not working. so he's cutting back on some of his rc's. he has already sold off his heli's and now letting go of his boats. he's just keeping a few cars and trucks. and he asked about trading for a pipe for his baja. the pipe in question was a v1 rear dom, their not that cheap, it was about 2 years old but in great shape. i think i did pretty good. i'm really trying to get into gas boats. my nemesis is great, but it would be nice to have a few more to play with. now i do, if i can get them set up and running

Hi Tony,

I am with Dan above in thinking it is an aeromarine Sport X Hydro.

I cannot recall how the bottom of their hydro looks but certainly the top looks the same. Cowl is a Stryker (Hydro or cat I am not sure).

i never did figure it out, for the hydro. i figure someday i would just try to build it, and maybe see if i can make the hatch work. as for the mono, i have a build thread going on for it. but anyway, thanks for trying guys
