Here's a vee that will give the hydro a run for the money. At 65 mph with the 30cc made to 50cc it will be hard to catch..

$9,000.00 into the paint? Maybe $9.00 in spray cans!
The BS is getting deeper on eBay, better get the hip boots on!

Totally agreed, getting out of hand. I actually reported this one as misrepresented/fraudulant with links to what a $9,000 r/c boat actually looks like.

Seeing how the "Turbo" hydro is pick up only I guess that I won't be bidding on it! The problem is that one the buyer sees it, he won't want it either but then again P.T. Barnum said that there's a sucker born every minute.

A few years ago I not only reported the clowns that sell those Stingray/Dolphin OB tunnels that I would pay $1,000.00 (for a $240.00 boat) that if they could prove to me that those boats could go the advertised 65-75 MPH speeds in the ad. I never got a reply from any of them.

Some of the eBay sellers were told that these boats did that speed when they bought them new so they actually believe that they're really that fast. When they see that those ads say "Up to XX MPH...." they bought into the hype.

Did anyone check out that sweet prop balance that comes with the mono? Wow, 2 razor blades and a nail! [sm=lol.gif] Yup, no expense spared there!

I want to know how he got almost 50cc's out of a Homie as there must not be any cylinder wall left.

Considering the fact that he would have to rechrome the wall and move the ports out I am pretty sure if you measured it you would find 25 or 30cc displacement and another hit on the lie-meter.

I can see $900 in the paint job - it probably took an artist a week to put all those chips, nicks, and runs - especially if you consider the work in the cockpit.
A huge amount of work needed to make that $9000 boat package look like every other fun cruiser out there.

I am curious what my boats are worth using his calculator

You know - I could almost understand a decimal issue - I mean the numbers would be far more believable.

$9.00 in paint and $90.00 was put into the boat.

But I cannot remember reality ever being stretched this far - not even on e-bay.
