I cannot see which drive you have on the gator but if I had to guess I would say it's a version of the XP-2.

Start by removing the strut adjustment bolt.
Slide the Strut down and pull the assembly out of the shaft.
You may or may not need to loosen and tilt the rudder up to get the assembly out.

I have attached page 4 of Tony's instructions that covers the proper steps to replace the cable. I hope this helps.

That motor is almost problem proof lol I put the same motor in my brothers gator a while back and the only problem we have had is sometimes hard to start when cold its never stalled on the water with us very reliable. Good Luck

Is that the Zenoah RC230?
If so, just like Scott said its a fantastic engine. Pretty much bullet proof and mine have ran 40mph right out of the box. Not bad for a play boat. Enjoy the soft water while you can.

Off the top of your heads, can anyone tell me what type of resin is used in them (poly or epoxy)? If you remember my Team Pro that got tossed on the rocks a few years ago is needing some attention this winter. Can't sell it & get enough out to justify the shipping so might just glass & go. Beater boats seem to run the best anyhow.

Poly resin is my guess,as far as i know all his boats are poly resin.

I just got a new Super G and I am going through the process of setting up the radio equipment. I do have one question: does anyone the hex size of the grub screw that holds the throttle linkage to the bradded cable line? it's smaller than the smallest hex tool i have which is 1.5mm.
