I have a traxas v hull and it is mounted with a vertx 18 engine but it is cuting the flex shaft every time i dont know wahat to do now !!
i tride to make it as strate as possible but it is still cutting it where the flex shuft is conected with the solid part!!

Doesn't that boat come with a solid shaft instead of a flex cable?

Well from that picture it looks as if your using an electric collet since the nitro collets dont have set-screws adn could be the problem or at least part of it, also looks like the cable alignment is off to one side to far- the cable should be centered going into the stuffing tube also lack of flywheel is going to give you trouble and the gap between the collet you have and the spacer behind it should not be there

Good eye Mike!
I see a whole slew of problems there. The collet isn't holding the flywheel in place and the stuffing tube is too big causing cable whip.
From what I can barely make out, the transom hardware has been changed from a steerable outdrive to a strut and rudder setup.

You're right, there's only a spacer plate there and no flywheel! Boy, somebody really messed this conversion up! You need a flywheel in there but you may need that spacer to get one to fit. The flex cable collet is made for an electric motor, not a nitro engine.

The engine base looks to be at a steep angle. How do we fix??? That !!Old school , new school you'll have a stinger strut. where the shaft comes out the bottom of the transom. the hardwood in-bedded in the fiberglass ,will need to be redone. Seams like a lot of work. and $ to do that.
