Must be nice. In the Pacific Northwest, it's cold and rainy with snow still falling in the Cascade Mountains. We have a test session tomorrow close by my house, don't know if I'm going to go or pass, depends on the temperature and if it's raining or not

Yes it's getting nice here on Lake Lanier in Georgia,it was 27 low yesterday morning, but getting to 64 high today!..that would be fun to go to the test session, but the snow and rain in the northwest makes it hard to want to go out, hope it starts getting to spring weather there soon!!!

Just checked out the weather forecasts through next Sunday:
Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s
Highs in the upper 40s through this weekend and in the low 50s through next week and weekend
Chance of rain is 70% or higher through next weekend except Monday, when it's only 40%. Today and tomorrow are listed at 100% with Sunday at 80%
Guess boating will have to wait

Mark, where's the Aero-Tech? Are you racing in Celina this year? I'm tossing around which races I'm hitting. No new boats this year but working on the ones I already have.

The NX-400 is getting the 11cc moved over to it. The Aero-Tech has some damage that would need a total repair. Plus the fact I'm racing for PTi this year... I've already signed up for Celina. Most likely going to Madison again this year. Think the Cincy club will have a speed event only this year.

The PTi boats can be found here: http://ptiracing.com/ These are all laser cut kits. They need assembly, unlike the VS1.

You've got your work cut out for you! I didn't build anything over the winter but trying to get those new boat bugs out of the Insane hydro. Chris Hoffmann made a prop for me and I moved the rudder to the right as that thing had the turning radius of a battleship.

With some good advice I received last year, the time spent getting the boats dialed in should make it a smooth transition. The 34" WOF was a pain until I remember that advice.

Currently working with a auto body repair shop to get the boats clear coated. Or I have to wait for warmer weather to show up.

I did forget one boat to mention. Well, I don't have it in person yet, waiting for delievery. The HTB360 repair job is complete, Bob Kensil just needs to mail it to me. Believe he is putting a 13cc on it! He's also working on my CMB Red head. This is to convert the PTO to the OS version. That motor combo will go on the NX-320.

If you go to the PTi website, the boat without a description is the GX-480.. Gas tunnel. Hopefully that will be in my collection by next year's racing season.

Mark, they haven't listed it yet. Last year they had two races, July and Aug. One is with the regatta, RC on Saturday and big boys on Sunday. See where you inquired on IW. Drop me a line when you and the wife are in Cincy.

certainly is a nice collection of both glow and electric. remember the Mauss Motorsports CHAMP 60 ? i had one of those hulls with a nice K&B 67 slightly moded plus an Irwin pipe . was very scary in the turns, more suited to SAW or fitted with a 7.5. for oval.

Never saw a Mauss up close and personal. Didn't like how the insert was so far in, if I'm thinking of the same boat. I've been mainly a wood boat type of guy through out my hobby/racing times.

If I worked in the industry and had a fleet of scales, think my handle would be Hydro Junkie II....
