Around 30 to 35 . ( unless you change over to the 25 instead of the 15 ) , buy an aluminum rudder .
Props - get yourself a small selection ... best bat is to talk with one of the prop gurus ( prop benders )

I have a nitro hammer, they are very fun boats, easy to use and go pretty fast, the engine is very reliable. I would replace the rudder though because they are kind of weak.

The first thing you should do when you open the box is to check the prop to see if it is broken. They are offering a replacement part free of charge to fix the rudder problem, make sure that you get one if your's hasn't been upgraded.
I've seen several run but couldn't tell you the top speed but they do move right along. I was surprised. Try an Octura X435 on it. If that works well and seems to be able to take more, then go to an X437.

No problem. If I'm right, this boat comes with a video that should give you lots of help. Grab the latest issue of Radio Control Boat Modeler, it has a little write-up on the boat.
When you get it, bring on the questions and we'll see what we can do for you.
If I didn't already have a bunch of boats near this size, I'd probably have one myself. I get to work on and play with other peoples Nitro Hammers.
