If you have the standard 2 channel trigger style radio that comes with the RTR MB then you set the throttle trim so that when you push forward on the trigger it completely closes the throttle, killing the engine. Two other options are a finger over the carb mouth or a finger (there is actually a tool so you don't burn yourself) over the exhaust.

I agre with daveg55, if you are running, push the throttle trigger fuly forward, and the boat will eventually stop, however, ususlly not where you want it to, make sure you have a retrival system.

If you have been in rc car all these while then you have to be extra careful with your "brake" ( I mean pushing the throttle trigger forward) or you will be doing lots of swimming.
Happened to me when I switched from car to boats, anyway, happy boating.
