Default Carbon Fiber Tuned Pipes

Would anyone be interested in a full length carbon fiber tuned pipe? I am thinking about making them for .21 sized engines and smaller. They are a great way to save alittle weight and they look killer too. The 9 inch long pipe I make for a small 1/2a engine only weighs a third of an ounce. What are the popular pipes guys are running now?

LAter,
Tim

There probably would be a market for a lightweight carbon fiber pipe as there have been and still is one company that makes them for boats. The trick is to use the right epoxy, one that won't get soft under heat.
Now that noise has become an issue for boats, it will need to be muffled also.

Well if anyone is game maybe I'll work up a 10" carbon fiber pipe for the .12/.15 engines. Anyone game to do alittle testing for me? I would supply the pipe free of charge all I ask is your honest review of how well it works.

Later,
Tim

Sounds interesting. I have several .12 powered boats, like 5 of them now and possibly one more on the way. PM me.
