Between those two, the OS. The K&B 3.5 SS is a real pain in the butt to get running properly as it has to be run slobbering rich, more than what people are used to.

I've got OS and K&B outboards. Of the two, the OS is much better engineered. Improvements over the K&B include a larger prop shaft assembly and a mount that allows for trim adjustments. Unless K&B comes up with some significant improvements, I won't buy any more.

I am running the Os .21 XM on my ts and I love it. The boat really runs well and that engine is very reliable.
Go with the O.S., you wont be sorry,
Matt

My friend forget about pain and enjoy success, K&B is old tech, the O.S.21Xm outboard engine is the best of all stock outboard engines in the market and you be able to find parts any moment. Read the results in Stock OT at IMPBA. I have one since 12/2000 without firt overhaull.

GoodLuck and see you soon in Tierra Blanca

That's what I thought Jerry.
Try translating Japanese sometime, that stuff really comes out funny! I used to go into the JMPBA site that Marty Knox used to be at while he was in Japan.

Please people, we are a worldwide site but try to talk in English in here. I'd hate to have to delete a posting in a foreign language because of it turning out to be translated into something like this especially when I see a translation with "enemy" in it.
We're a little paranoid here in Michigan right now with what has been going on in the upper part of the lower pennisula this past week. If you haven't heard, supposedly there was a plot to blow up the "Big Mac", the bridge connecting the lower pennisula from the upper using cell phones as the way to remotely blow it up.

Unfortunately, the translator is ad-libbing, enemy was nowhere in the text. However, I completely agree that it's best that everyone stick to a language that everyone understands.

I'm sorry Ron, but in this Spanish Pharse doesn't say "enemy".

He said, "The yellow boat is ready with electronic ignition, tomorrow I'm going to turn on, to see that.

Thanks and We are in contact OK

Jose."

Sorry guys, we surely understand your opinions, but don't worry my friend only make me a little joke.

OK Poobe but this Modified Outboard engine, no is stock. A good Mod engine i saw run is a MAC21 with a pipe, is very good performance.

Guys, Who know is if possible fit OS.21 VZM marine turbo engine in O.S. outboard Leg? Will be interesting.

Yes, it is possible. I saw one at the tunnel only race that was held near here earlier this year. However, from what I remember, it required some machine work to make it fit. I don't remember the details, but could probably find out if you are really interested.

Really?? My K&B SS hasn't had an issue with since replacing the bearings. At the last race, everyone commented on how fast it was. Heck, some wanted to tear it down. Go right ahead, motor was from JD (NAMBA) and so it has to be stock. Yes, there were OS motors out there also. Will see in a few weeks at the Indy Masters. There should be a whole lot more B Sport Tunnels there..

If I wasn't so attached to K&B, I'd have to go with the OS however...

The only problem with mine you carnt run under 50% Nitro (has so much comp carnt turn it over with your hand haha)

so in down under it can hurt your wallet that way...

But yeah my Tunned pipe is about 8Inches long...

Im thinking of selling it getting a used stocko to get some more money for a 7.5CC Project
