Hot Wheels Radar Gun
Mattel is promoting a radar gun thats 0-100 mph for $30 built just like the big boys - Hot Wheels Style.
This has to be my favorite Hot Wheel yet!

Don't know really...I just seen it on a TV show that featured new toys for Christmas. The TV show featured what looked like Matell's promotional video, and they showed all sorts of motorsports being clocked. Go Karts, Dirt Bikes, ect. - Kids having fun around race tracks and in the neighborhood.
I would say if the range is good as well as consistant readings it would be all good with me. I'm anxious for someone to try one out and report also.

RE: Hot Wheels Radar Gun
Hey guys I made the mistake of purchasing one of these in the hope of being able to test the top speed on my hydro. Its only a toy and does not have a descent range on it, I could not get it to work on anything over 4 metres away.
Took it to my local rc boat club and guys there said is was not very accurate as when compared to an expensive gps, it was about 8 - 10 km out.
Also very difficult to target onto a small moving object like a boat which may have had alot to do with its inaccuracy.

Shop I purchased from has kindly agreed to give me a refund. Shop assistant said he has already had several other unhappy customers return units after unsucessful results at trying to measure the speed on full size cars!!
