I know there's a guy who goes by the name Torquer who is building a scratch built Cat. He may be able to help you.

I have plans for a 26in mono. They are tiled so you can print them out and tape them together. I dont know if you could get them blown up or do it yourself. Its the wildthing If you need them 40in plus your better off asking them over in the gas forum they are building big boats I think theres a guy called martno that might have them. Did you try doing a search?

I'm very interested in the 26" WT. I read your build up on this and think this would be perfect for a 12 tz I picked up yesterday. Do you think this is the right size for the smaller motor?

I put the os .18 in mine Im waitng for nice weather to shoot a video to post on my thread. Its a little beast with the .18 The .12 should do the job. I also cut 2in off the back the boat so mine is 24in at about 2pound 9 oz i think thats with fuel. If you build lite it should make for a decent boat you could always swap to a bigger motor later. I think you can pick the water cooled .18 up for under a 100 buck. I will try to pm you the plan let me know if you get it. I think thats what most people put in a boat this size is a .12 but I tend to like to overkill my projects

Check your pm you should have the plans. Theres one thing I would do if using the air cooled motor I would build the deck flat without the top radius former that way your motor will be more in the air flow.

Yep I got it thank you. Looks good, my plan it to get back into rc boats with building an a mono mostly because the river I run on is pretty narrow. I think a small boat will handle this best.

You wont have no problems turning it put a turn fin on it like I did and it will turn a real tight radius say 3 to 5 foot.

Bummer I really like that bump up on yours. Makes it look really aggressive. Do you think an even shorter version would work maybe 20" to 22" ?

I will send you a set by pm let me know if you get them. Hey you could probably tape them together and take them and get them blown up at kinko's. Just remember if you build it the formers for the top that have the radius need to be sanded to take some of the curvature out of the deck. I had a little problem when I built mine with the radious so I hand scribed the two formers with a pencil and took a flat bar sander and slowly sanded them till I liked how the deck looked. If you dont sand them what will happen is when you cut the deck and I cut mine 1/4 in oversize is with the severe radious it will tend to pull the corners at the transom in making it come up short to cover the edges at the sides even with the deck being cut big.

Your welcome let me no how the build goes or if you need help. Theres a somewhat detailed build thread I did called:
HPI/NOVA ROSSI .12 The build starts around page 5 or so. The reason its titled HPI is I was planning on putting an air cooled .12 in it then I came across extra money so I put the os.18cvrm in it instead. Your welcome to post there if you decide to build or have questions on it

I was wrong build starts on page 3
