Ok, here is an update. Need a little touch up, but other than that, going as planned. Used vinyl graphics (thanks to my kids, got me a plotter for fathers day ) for the design. Hope ya enjoy. BTW, the colors are flame yellow and flame orange so far, my camera kinda sucks.

What exactly is ugly about it. As in feedback at least have some suportive comments or suggestions. Just saying its ugly means really nothing other than the fact your being an ass about it. I dont mind negative comments as long as its constructive. The whole point of this thread was for feedback. Each to his own. Thanks.

Looking good so far, at first I was like "Oh no, another yellow boat?" but now that youre getting some graphice on it it should be rockin. I cant really say anything though, mines red and theres plenty enough red boats running also........

Damn, you're moving fast...heh
I like it, are you going to have it done by Saturday so we can get it wet??
Wait a second...is that PINK in the center of the design?? What's up with all the pink all of a sudden...

Mmmm... not sure I will have it done by then. I plan to work on the skull part tomorrow. Already have the template laid out, just ran out of day light. Then Tuesday do the numbering along with some more line work, then I still have the tail part to do..... arg.... out of time.... The pink is miss leading. Its still the flame orange, just lighten a bit to give contrast. Up close you can see the difference. Like I said, my camera sucks, makes colors look diff.

You guys are gona hate it or love it. After a conversation I had with Sean today..... dam you.... lol...... I am redoing it yet again,... Since the graphics so far were more strict with angles and such, the conversation was about how the skull would fit into it since it will be more curves.... if it would go together or not. After thinking about it, I decided to scrap it and Easy Oven Off it..... any how.. back to the drawing board to create more fluid line work so I can incorperate my skull. He will deff be in it... Some day this boat may see water, lol. Hopefully by tommorow I will have a couple more shots by then.

RE: Miss Vegas Custom Job
LOL...oh, I see...it is all my fault now...
Dude, I would do it...and see how it looks. Then you can see if you like the combo of geometric and free hand together...if not, then whipe the sponsons and start them again...
I like what you have (even if you did go pink...heh)...just pondering what it will all look like together.

RE: Miss Vegas Custom Job
Too late, it has been wiped and now its official. I dont blame ya,.. just got me thinking,.. glad you did. Cause it wouldnt have looked so well together. Now, flames and skull, they go together... muhahah..... I had 2 themes in 1 idea which was not a good thing. Now which theme to go with., hehe.... Thanks again for the comments all. I do plan to keep the color scheme going,.. with a little change up.. but mostly the same... at least until I talk to Sean again and he screws me up.. lol. Thanks all.

/agree, I have a flaming skull on each of my sponsons, just decals at the moment that I found at a local auto parts store. Working with the local guy that cuts custom decals for a chrome looking design of the flaming skulls, but that wont happen until after she gets a nice new paint job. Keep us updated, Id like to see youre version.

RE: Miss Vegas Custom Job
Well, decided to go with a racing theme instead. Really liked the stripes and all. Its been changed a bit, but this is what I did today so far. I still have to paint the bottom, add some numbering and do the tail section. Reminds me of the Duke of Hazards, hehe... racing theme with a little twist to it. Enjoy.

not really being an ***** but i thought you really wanted opinions not just the one's you wanted to hear
Looks better now but a little shine would be nice.
Too bad you were not closer we could trade some paint in a real race not this keyboard stuff..
Good luck with the boat and get out there racing.
If your not knocking the paint off her your not pudhing hard enough...
I'll leave it alone now.
Take care.

RE: Miss Vegas Custom Job
Well its finally done. I was going to have someone else do the clear, but I figure I would give it another try. Very minor orange peal.. which makes me happy, was easy to fix. I was gona sell it, but the wife talked me into keeping it. So now I have to break it in and get it wet finally. Everything on it is painted, no decals. Comments welcome as always. Thanks.

Thanks!! Was deff fun doing it. Good learning project for myself also. Normally I do canvas and poster art stuff, so this was little different. Learned alot thru the whole process. As long as I learn something along the way, Im happy with just about any outcome..,, well most of the time I am.
