Default Torq 16 motor in a boat?

I know nothing about boats and have a freshly rebuilt torq 16 motor out of a duratrax maximum st. Can you put a car motor in a boat? Do you need to put a water cooling system on it? If so are they expensive? If this can go in a boat could someone reccomend one that it would fit in. Is there anything else I would need besides electronics?
Thanks

Theres some .15-16 water cooling botton that might fit it.Old proboat hydro or a rigger that this motor would work in.Water cooling bottons might run you 10-18 dollars.
