I practiced with my 60 Roadrunner (67 Picco) and everything works fine EXCEPT it dies as soon as the first tank empties. (it did this three times today - tune up day)
The plumbing goes like this:
tuned pipe to upper vent in outside (left) tank,
rear bottom left of outside tank to,
upper vent in inside (right) tank,
rear bottom left of inside tank to,
fuel filter to,
remote mixture needle to,
carburator.
Do I have the tanks reversed (should inside tank empty first)?
Driver's meeting at 8:30 in the morning after 30 minutes of open water - HELP!

just to clear-up..pressure line goes to the vent of tank1(the tank that doesn't directly connect to the carb) then fueline of thank1 is connected to the vent of tank2(the tank that directly connect to the carb) then fueline of tank2 is connected to remote needle or carb.

All sounds good to me to, question:::: Are you sure your pick-up in the tank that is not running out is in the right spot inside the tank?
How late do you think the racing will go on tomarow?

Driver's meeting at 8:30am - they will probably try to finish as many heats as possible so Sunday won't be so bad.
