My Zstrut ,didn' t blow up in my face. The hull ran good, my engine didn't the flywheel came lose , done for the day The older cat ran good. The mount didn't loosen up, a good fix. My .21 Zippkit Rigger ran strong, 51mph Joe said I can get it up into the 60ides , I did get to play with some pipes, until the ziptie came loose , The Pond God GOT ME.
MY AB parabolic pipe she is down-under.

I did get to run your amax 3 blade prop. Every one said I was under proped . I want to run soon. We race this weekend. I took the remote needle off my .21 rigger for testing on the Zoom carb/CMB combo. Nothing special as far as running. More testing is needed. First time out on the CMB / used engine . new to me. We did kick up some rust on the start-up. I need to keep a eye on the bearing. I will change the radio/ receiver on the .12 zip rigger. The old Picco P5 ran like a bear.

LOL,, yea that prop is a bit small for a .21, you should be running somewhere between 40mm and 45mm, not a 37mm. That's a prop for a strong .18.

The Zstrutt experiment is still a experiment. I need to drop the prop down, got a lot of wash no bite (prop wise). The Zstrutt was even with the bottom of the hull. I did use the new cooper Short 21S pipe( short ) I had a problem with it holding on to the exhaust coupler. notice that ring not good
Amax your 3 blade prop was probable OK Strut depth is way off.

You Need A Bigger Prop For A .21 the X437\3 is a 37mm prop, you need a 40mm to 45mm prop for a good .21

Correction my statement above should have said 40mm to 50mm.

I would try the M445, M447, X448, X450. The 440 is a 40mm prop which is the Minimum you should run. If the Small prop is Slipping, Go Bigger. Personally I would Try all the props I could with a set up before doing reconstruction changing the set up to accommodate the Smallest Prop recommended for a .21

Ready for videos, lol. I ordered the final items for my cat, should get here today or tomorrow. Haven't been able to get a .21 to put in her as yet. Toying with the idea of putting her in the water with the original .18 just for a fix or dropping one of my car engines in. I might be able to run this weekend as well. Good luck.

We did a start-up on the CMB ,had to CK that pipe. She is quiet. When I did a after run oil. She spit up rusty- lookin oil . I may need some new bearings. I will bring my Picco P5 with me next weeks race. We test Sunday. and we lost the heat/ humidity. Thanks Ron for sending that nice weather my way. I got alot done today. The new build got worked on, SEALED I had some old HobbyPox clear. still good after all these years. The cans were unopened . I my add another lite coat. 1/2 the Fiberglass is down.

Sorry to hear about your .12 rigger. Do you know why you lost reception?

Blackout , yes I know why I lost my reception. I changed my radio, back to, old style receiver. My antenna was not out fully . The newer futaba receiver has a short antenna, which is going back in the .12 .If I had changed my plastic tube I would be OK LOL my fault

My Zoom carb doesn't fit my Picco P5 The other aftermarket carb is too big unless I cap it off (remove the needle) and run a remote needle . or order new bearings. LOL[&o]
