The Z strut has been replaced with the ORIGINAL strut. You heard it here first. [&o]The myth busters Have proven it as a bust. The CMB zoom carb is dead in the water. I have the Picco P5 with a OPS slide carb, using a bellcrank.I also need more air movement, that big old Cooper pipe is large & hot .I will open up the cover some more.

My Picco P5 had a Teflon liner for the OPS carb. It would spit it out after a few revs The liner is on the radio box The outher option was to drill a hole into the case and add a screw on each side of the carb. I found a OPS engine that has the smaller dia carb ,no liner In my box of goodies

Clean all surfaces good with brake parts cleaner, scuff both sides of the liner with 400 grit or so, clean again, then Silicone it in with a Light coat on each side of the liner,, Let it dry Over Night. I had a similar issue using the OS carb on the Go Engines and a brass bushing. Worked like a champ..

Will do buddy, I tossed the cooper quiet pipe for a old prather pipe. I have all kinds of room now ,back to the Picco P5 which is a very good engine. You do need to toss the picco carb ,too small a intake. When I put the large bore carb on, she screams. I also looked a a K&B black carb too small a intake also K& B sells the Kelvin carb with a large bore

TT it's usually the inside sponson that I like to clip a float with. I sent a e-mail to Joe I already used my spare. 3 rd set this year. LOL I feel lucky so far ,care must be given to the parallel sponsons when reattachment.
