Part of the pond has real thin ice still. A big gas mono could proabably break through.... We are getting real warm weather down here, but I notice you don't have to go that far north before it gets colder. There was a big snowmobile race that was post poned at the Finger Lakes Race Track. They tried making snow, but they just could not make enough.

I've noticed the silence as well. Seems like the only threads that are getting any action are this one, the Circus build and my Pak thread, though the Pak thread is mostly non-Pak conversations lately. I guess I need to get the Paks all done and start a new thread on building the Executone so people can see there isn't really that much difference between the sport 20, 40 and scale hulls other than size

Side note, I ran into a stumbling block with the digital timers for the timing system. These timers are used for many applications, and I'm having trouble setting it up to work like a stop watch. I logged onto a automation forum so hopefully I'll get some help. I'll e-mail tech support too.

Man, you guys did a lot of hard work. After looking at the before and after pics - I was tired.
That is a nice looking mono. Where are you setting the C/G? 32%, 32.5%? Geezer wheels are nice but it just means more to carry to the hot pits. To each his own.........
I really hope IMPBA gets the rule book updated before the season starts. What kind of power is Bob thinking about for the 55" mono? I was concerned about moving from 45" to 51" monos due to the extra weight.

Bill, I have heard great things about the Microburst monos! Should be hard to beat. I'm no expert, but at some point going longer will only increase performance in really rough water. 51" might be a good sweet spot. The gas Seaducers are 47" if I remeber correctly and allot of the AC Model hulls are about the same.

55" won't fit into my Santa Fe sideways ,I'll need that trailer .The only problem with that Aeromarine hull is the pipe length is set ,with that funky header. got a S in it. I can't get down to the length I want.
Bill is your hull a microBURST or a MICROBURST. the first on is a Marine Specialties hull .I got one from Sue with a .67 CMB inside. A nice looking hull built by Fred Rodas. The 32% is what I like for CoG

RE: Central NEW YORK boaters
When you say S bend, does that mean a wrap to center RTC pipe? Don Hollys on Jim's is making hot pipes to order and may be able to help you out. Nowadays I am pretty much running only hotpipes and use the Gizmo Victory pipe if I want more volume.
Dave Showers bought the Microburst molds and has been making them for some time. Mine is not a Marine Specialties hull. I was running an AC Lazer (45") and it handled well in rough water since the beam was 1" wider.

Hi Guys,
I'm running an aeromarine vector mono this season, modded 260.
Looks like I'll definitely run Sport Hydro, Rigger and Mono gas classes along with my .18 nitro rigger. If I get a little more organized in my pit area 3 or 4 classes should not be a problem, last year 2 to 3 was the max.
Bob
Oh Darn.... There goes my low post count

Update on Timing System....
I think I figured out what I was doing wrong with the timer. First, the timer runs with a constant input. Pulling the input stops the timer. I had assumed a input would start it and another input would stop the timer. The second is that the timer comes from the factory set for negative logic. The input is switched with a ground not a 12v positive. So, it looks like I'm back in business... I do need to rewire the relays a little, but so far I see no problems.

All I did was copy the properties from the Aeromarine site by right clicking onto the picture and clicking on properties. Then just paste the properties between the image quotes that pops up when you click on the image icon when you reply to a message.
