Craig the pond looks very good ,NO weeds Even with the island back, we stayed far away from that. We did get some mild rain. but the pond was like glass. All my hulls ran very well. The .45 rigger was moving. Roger had a good looking cracker box ,Bob had his thunderboat He tested a few turn fins. The thunderboat looked strong. He may go after the Thompson father and son team.

Looking at the Ottawa hotels the prices are up. They have a holiday as well. So book early the Comfort Inn was the best price I found. So far. If someone finds a good deal lets hear it.

Did you notice the start of the frame work for the driver stand top? I decided on a soft top that I can remove during the off-season. The top is going to overhang the front and back by 2 feet.

Neil, I'm bringing the motorhome, no family. Did you want to split the gas costs and stay in the motorhome? It gets 7 miles per gallon.... There are bunk beds or a couch you can sleep on. With no hook-ups showers need to be short. But, we have a 6500 watt generator and air conditioning if the weather is hot. I can pull your trailer, or Bob's, if he decides to come. Bob, you up for it?

Yes ,I know how to camp-out. I will bring 4 hulls to run. I'm not sure if the .67 cat has a class. If your in Cedar Point your 1/2 way to Ottawa. One of my favorite spots to camp at. Southwick is another.

Dick, that's fine.

Luc, Is there solid ground leading to your new pond? The motorhome weighs 18,000 pounds.

Neil, We are at this Cedar Point, in Ohio....

I'm camping with Craig but this one is the cheapest and closest.Looks to be a decent motel. I'm used to Mark Twain, so its 5 star or better. I have a sleeping bag and pillow, good to go.

Luc,
Don't think we can make it to your race (really want to) - but think I will be on call for work that weekend. Probably can't get out of it - filling in for another in the dept who is out on maternity leave.
Will let you know if it changes.

I took my gas Vee out for a ride, she hooked and landed on the island upside down. So my gas Vee has driving issues. I packed her up and she's grounded.until I learn how to drive.
Before that I brought my cat in and she hit the dock pipe hard. the first horse shoe ringer.
