Electric Stick, with a $47.00 motor. Flies great on 8 cells, has unlimited (wild) vertical with 10 cells. A blast! I had 2 Midwest sticks years ago (.40). One had Fowler flaps.

Here is mine. It's a Giant Big Stick. 10cells, 160 size motor and a 19x10 APC prop. This delivers superb performance! I've had 38" 66" and 80"sticks, glow and electric all are great!

Nice! I have the same set up, but I found out it will fly great also on 8 cells:-) I changed the wheels, now I have 6" light wheels. It looks better:-) Mine used to fly with a Z26, but with the electric setup it is on steroids.

I think there are 2 models I always had in my 40 years in the hobby: Cubs and Sticks. Those 2 always get picked to go out to the field. I might get a used 60 to convert to electric (with 6 cell 90 size motor).

In Canada they sell nice kits for the Sticks, low wing and all, various sizes...
