Seems like seperating the Scratch Building from the CAD part would be nice. Lotsa computer designers out there with lotsa computer questions that don't necessarily involve planes. Placing this in the (clubhouse, flight sim, etc) category would be a good place.

Can I agree with 'aimmaintenance' on his suggestion,

Scratchbuilding =parent forum

Aircraft Design & 3D / Cad, = sub forums maybe?

I was sorta thinkin that the 3D/CAD might be better in the general type forums not in the plane forums.
RC car/ boat enthusiests (spelled that wrong i think) probably use CAD also.

I'll take it from the lack of responses to this that it wasn't exactly an award winning idea.
