Default Can we have a Electric-to-Glow Conversion Forum?

Quoting myself from here ---> http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7052973/tm.htm

"I dont know about the rest of you, but I would really enjoy a forum where people could share their success stories and ask questions about putting our trusty old (and new) glow motors on some of these neat little eletric ARF's.

Fact is, many of us still have several small (.10 thru .30) glow motors that we are very fond of, but the ARF market is all but dried up for them.
The good news is that some of the electric ARF's lend themselves back to glow easily and fly very well; we just need a good place to talk about it."

Come on guys... there are many electric to glow threads scattered all over the ARF and 1/2A forums.
It may not be the popular conversion method, its usually the other way around, but still... there are many questions on the subject.

I suspect not given the nature of the topic and the increasing popularity of electric powered aircraft. I'll look around, but I don't think there is enough conversation on this topic to sustain an entire forum.

Of course there is room for this forum. There are many electric to nitro swaps in numerous forums. The problem is that they are scattered all over. Some in 1/2A, some in 3/D, some in ARF/RTF. I have never swapped nitro for electric. Only electric to nitro. The popularity is there and would be a good idea if we all had a place to post them ie. The proper forum. I had to put my build thread for a recent conversion in two different places because the plane is 3D and also now nitro. I can bring up 6 threads all in different places that are recent nitro swaps.
thank you Adam

This subject is difficult to search on... the search engine will swap around the words, so you get both "electric to glow" and "glow to electric".
Either way, I've spent a few weeks now trying to seek out the right electric plane to put a .15LA on, and while hunting around I truly have encountered large number of threads, and even more singular posts on the subject.

BTW... Many of these conversions are in the 1/2a forum, but they seem only tolerant up to .15 discussions.
However, there are TONS of .25/.32 (40-45oz/40in-50inch) electric planes out there begging to be "slimed".
Hyperions (Cap580 - what a great looking plane)
3DHS (the 55''ers - even bigger still)
All of the Hanger9's and Electrifly's - (Yaks, 580's, Mini Pulse XT's, UltraSticks, you name it.)
The list is endless...

I think if the forum existed, the ideas would catch on, and we'd start seeing more and more conversions once people realized how easy it is to convert most of these ARF's to glow.

Quite simply... I think the "I converted my whatchacallit ARF to GLOW" threads would serve to encourage others to try the same thing... "Say, that looks easy enough!"

Here's what I turned up with in about 10 minutes... had to stop, the wife calls
