Default 2300 vs 2500

Hi there,

I am contemplating building an Ultra Hots. I have always loved the Hots design and this is the only one I haven't built.

It lists several different engines but among them are the Super Tigres 2000-3000. I have a NIB 2300 and am wondering how it stacks up against the older 2000-3000 engines. Some of the other engines that are suggested are Saito 270/300, Quadra 35-40, webra Bully 35, Enya 240 V Twin, Magnum 2.5 & OPS Maxi 30.

How do you think the G2300 fits among those engines?

Thanks, Terry

The SuperTigre G2300 is a higher-RPM and more powerful engine than the old S-2500. It uses a different fuel mix as well. The only one available today is the G2300 that will be back in stock in a month or so.

That's good news. I have one that is brand new. What fuel is best for these? Do they like higher nitro than the older models?

Any idea how they compare powerwise to the other engines I listed?

Thanks, Terry
