hi all just a quix question, i am using a futaba 9 chp tx with a futaba r146ip rx with 4 hitec hs56b severos. for some reason it acts like the is not reciveing. i put in inputs but nothing happens, i know for sure that the esc is getting pwr because i hear it beeb. but nothing else comes alive. i am new to the eletric rc world so any help will be gratefull.

Make sure the modultation on that model is set to PCM, then turn the transmitter off and on.

If you can, try hooking up a 4.8v battery pack straight to the reciever. That way, you should be able to power-up and test your servos etc. If they still don't work, then you have a problem with your receiver.

If the servos work fine this way, but your ESC just beeps at you when you hook a battery up to it, either you need to place your throttle stick at zero throttle, or your ESC is toast.

Is it an Align ESC?

yeah i have a align 35a esc, i ll try that and see how it works thanks

I've heard of that happening to several people on this forum with Align 35A ESCs. Also try using a totally fresh profile on your radio, so that your throttle curve is completely linear.......I've seen these ESCs give people trouble when they're trying to use a non-standard throttle curve.....the ESC doesn't know where low-throttle is.
